Experience the refined elegance of High Tea at the Palm River Hotel on the Zambezi River. Visit Our Gym

Visit our new gym positioned next to the hotel’s entrance. The spacious gym offers a fresh and airy place in which to maintain your wellness goals, while surrounded by natural bushveld.

Equipment options include a 3-station multi-gym weights machine, an elliptical trainer, stationary bikes, rowing machines, yoga equipment, free weights and more. Note the beautiful floor-to-ceiling palm tree wallpaper designed by local artist, Nicole Sanderson, which seamlessly draws the outside world in!

Ra-Ikane River Cruises

The luxury Ra-Ikane River Cruise offers Breakfast, Birdwatching, Lunch and Sunset cruises on the Zambezi River.

The cruises follow a circular route around the Zambezi River islands to provide guests with a panoramic view of the upper and lower Zambezi River and the wildlife and birdlife it offers. Each Ra-Ikane boat is directed by a friendly and knowledgeable captain, guide and waiter to ensure a tranquil and memorable experience on board. The Riverside Dining Experience offers authentic African-style barbeque dining within an unparalleled setting on the edge of the Zambezi River. Where to Eat

Enjoy a fusion fare inside the hotel’s grand dining hall, surrounded by large airy colonaded walls, tall ceilings with the warmth of a classic parquet floor beneath. The dining hall flows out onto an open veranda space and a large al fresco dining area, sheltered by tall ceilings that merge with the canopy of trees. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to hotel guests and day visitors, while the cuisine reflects the natural setting, using fresh, local ingredients.

Delight in a fully-immersive dining experience on the tranquil and serene banks of the Zambezi River. The riverside dining experience offers an authentic African barbecue-style dinner surrounded by the wilderness of the Zambezi National Park. Join us for a delicious array of teas, coffees and sweet treats while enjoying the tranquil views of the Zambezi River. The hotel’s complimentary Afternoon Tea is available daily between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm.

Set under a canopy of trees in front of the hotel’s Restaurant in the Main Area, the outdoor bar serves a selection of local and imported beverages, wines, cocktails, speciality coffees and fresh fruit juices, available daily from 10 am to 10 pm.

1. DO YOU OFFER AIRPORT TRANSFERS TO PALM RIVER HOTEL?
Pick up and drop off to Victoria Falls Airport – US$17 per person each way (approximately 30 minutes drive)
Pick up and drop off to Livingstone Airport (Zambia) – US$40 per person each way (approximately 1 hour)
Pick up and drop off to Kasane Airport (Botswana) – US$68 per person each way (approximately 1.5 – 2 hours). When booking airport transfers it is important to share flight details ahead of arrival.

2. HOW FAR IS PALM RIVER HOTEL FROM THE VICTORIA FALLS?
It is a gentle 8 – 10 minute drive from the hotel. We offer a complimentary shuttle bus which runs on a schedule throughout the day transporting guests between the Palm River Hotel and Victoria Falls Town centre. The shuttle stops at key landmarks for guests’ convenience including the Victoria Falls Rainforest, Ilala Lodge Hotel and the various craft markets along the route. Enquire at reception to book.

3. HOW MUCH IS IT TO SEE THE VICTORIA FALLS?
You will need to pay for entrance to the Victoria Falls Rainforest, the price depends on your nationality so please remember to take your ID card or passport with:

International: 50 USD
SADC: 30 USD
Zimbabwean: 7 USD

Please note that the entrance fee is for a single entry.

4. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT? 
The Palm River Hotel accepts a range of cash options including South African Rands, US Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Yen, Australian Dollars, as well as VISA and Mastercard payment options. Regrettably, we do not accept Amex.
