Delight in a fully immersive dining experience on the tranquil and serene banks of the Zambezi River, sheltered under a twinkling canopy of stars. The Riverside Dining Experience offers an authentic African barbecue-style dinner surrounded by the wilderness of the Zambezi National Park.

Expect an array of delicious items on the menu, with a touch of traditionally Zimbabwean flavours, all freshly prepared on open coal fires. The hotel’s extensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is served by attentive waiters set to ensure an unforgettable experience. Guests often get the opportunity to dine in the company of meandering hippos, buffalo or elephants.

The Riverside Dining Experience is available to guests from all hotels in Victoria Falls and is available throughout the year, weather conditions permitting. A minimum of 6 pax are required for the experience to take place and advanced reservations are essential.

We have recently built a fully-mobile, multi-layered wooden deck on which to host all riverside dining offerings, enhancing our guests’ comfort and taking care of the environment at the same time. This beautifully designed structure currently looks out on the river close to the Ra-Ikane River Cruise jetty.

Set under a canopy of trees in front of the hotel’s restaurant, the outdoor bar serves a selection of local and imported beverages, wines, cocktails, specialty coffees and fresh fruit juices – available daily from 10 am to 10 pm. Toast to the end of an adventure-filled day while immersed in the hotel’s wild surroundings. Keep an eye out for the nocturnal wildlife that meanders onto the lush lower lawns to graze as evening draws in.

Join us for a delicious array of complimentary afternoon teas, coffees and sweet treats served in the restaurant at the hotel. Our complimentary Afternoon Tea is available for all in-house guests daily between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm.
